Service status

We will be carrying out essential upgrades to our Lightstream network in the early hours of Tuesday 5 February, Wednesday 6 February and Thursday 7 February.  The upgrades will improve the stability of our full fibre network and improve the online experience for Lightstream customers.

The work will mean all Lightstream customers will experience a short service outage of around 15 minutes between 00:01 and 06:00 on one of these dates. Some customers will also experience a second service outage of around five minutes during the same period. If your phone service is provided over your broadband connection the service outage will also apply to your phone service.

The table below shows when the upgrades will take place in each area of our network. If it isn’t clear from the table below when your service will be affected and you need more information please call our Technical Support team on 01482 606101.

Once the upgrades are complete you’ll be able to connect to your broadband as normal – you shouldn’t need to do anything. If you do have any problems reconnecting, please switch off your router and ONT (that’s the white box we attached to the wall inside your home when we installed Lightstream), wait a few seconds and then turn them on again.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by these essential upgrades. To minimise any disruption to customers we’ve scheduled the work to take place when our network is least busy.
