Planned works update:
Broadband service interruptions due to network upgrade
10 September to 12 September
Between Tuesday, 10 September, and Thursday, 12 September, business customers in parts of Hull and East Yorkshire will experience a single, short interruption to their broadband service of up to 15 minutes.
This is due some essential maintenance and upgrading work we are carrying out across our Lightstream fibre network.
The work is part of our ongoing commitment to improve the level of service you receive from KCOM and will be carried out between midnight and 6am to minimise any disruption.
The work will take place as follows:
On Tuesday 10 September, some premises in the HU1, HU3, HU5, HU6, HU7, HU8, HU9, HU11, HU12 postcode areas will be affected.
On Wednesday 11, September, some premises in the HU1, HU2, HU3, HU4, HU5, HU6, HU8, HU9, HU10, HU13, HU14, HU15, HU16 and DN37 postcode areas will be affected.
On Thursday 12 September, some premises in the HU3, HU4, HU5, HU6, HU10, HU13, HU14, HU15, HU16, HU17, HU20, YO25, YO43, DN31 and DN37 postcode areas will be affected.
As well as a short broadband interruption the work will also affect VOIP phone services.
After the work affecting your area has taken place you may need to turn your router and ONT (the white box on the wall in your property) off and on again in order to get back online.
