Join us at our first Business Boost event of 2018 as we look back at Hull’s phenomenal year as the UK City of Culture and assess what it meant for local businesses.
Phil Batty, Director of Public Engagement and Legacy at Hull 2017, is our guest speaker and will summarise the key findings from the official impact report. This will reveal what effect 2017 has had on local businesses; covering everything from visitor numbers to footfall and financial gains made in UK City of Culture year.
It will also be your chance to ask a key member of the UK City of Culture team your own questions about how 2017 legacy plans are shaping up and how Hull can maintain momentum going forward.

This Business Boost event sits alongside the “Cultural Transformations: The Impacts of Hull UK City of Culture 2017” in-depth academic conference. Held over two days by the University of Hull, it will explore the results, successes and lessons from Hull’s year in the cultural spotlight.
