Time running out to enter The Digital Awards 2017
Are you and your business blazing a trail in the digital world?
If so, it’s time to get the recognition you deserve by entering the Digital Awards 2017.
With just a couple of weeks left to get your nomination in, now is your chance to shout about your achievements and tell the world about what you have to offer.
For a second year running, the awards will be held at the stunning Stage@TheDock, a pioneering venue offering spectacular views over the city’s growing digital and cultural quarter in Hull’s rapidly regenerating Fruit Market.
The awards event, on Thursday, 7 September, is not only an opportunity to honour those ensuring this region remains at the cutting edge of global tech trends but also a chance to meet with other delegates while enjoying fabulous street food and live music.
KCOM’s executive vice president Gary Young, said: “We are delighted to be hosting The Digital Awards once again, celebrating the very best in the region’s tech and digital sectors.
“Hull is rightly being recognised as a hotspot for digital activity and as a perfect place to start or grow innovative businesses. As an industry leader in communications and connectivity, KCOM is committed to helping our tech sector flourish and this is an excellent way of showcasing all the amazing work that is being done in Hull and beyond.
“KCOM has already invested more than £60m in delivering ultrafast fibre broadband to Hull and East Yorkshire and this is providing a future-proofed platform for other cutting edge businesses to launch from.
“Our belief is that Hull’s burgeoning tech ecosystem will continue to go from strength to strength and, as always, we will continue to be its biggest supporter and champion.”
The event, jointly hosted by KCOM and the Hull Daily Mail, will provide a relaxed atmosphere for an evening of top speakers, award presentations and entertainment before an audience of about 250 people.
