It’s (nearly) your time to shine at The Digital Awards 2017
It’s no exaggeration to say that Hull is undergoing a digital revolution.
As the ultrafast capital of the UK, with a thriving digital ecosystem taking root, Hull and its surrounding area is rapidly emerging as one of the nation’s most exciting tech hubs.
From established multinationals to innovative young start-ups, this region has a lot to be proud of and a lot to be optimistic about.
KCOM and the Hull Daily Mail are therefore delighted to have joined forces once again to host the third annual Digital Awards, which celebrate the creative strides being made in the development and use of digital technology.
The awards, which will he held at the stunning Stage@TheDock amphitheatre in the heart of Hull’s revitalised Fruit Market, will bring together the movers and shakers of the tech community to recognise the city’s inspirational companies at the cutting edge of digital business.
And, as nominations open, the time is right to shout about your tech excellence and to tell the world your business success story.
This year there are 11 categories designed to celebrate the region’s wide range of success.
And with categories including everything from Best Mobile App, Best Digital Innovation and Best Global Reach to Digital Ambassador, there’s a category to suit every tech savvy business. You never know, it could be you picking up the award at the glittering awards ceremony on Thursday, 7 September.

“Hull is rightly being recognised as a hotspot for digital activity and as a perfect place to start or grow innovative businesses. “Earlier this year Hull landed a place in the influential Tech Nation 2017 report, receiving glowing praise for its vibrant digital economy and as a place that is receptive to new and exciting businesses.
“This, combined with a large number of major international companies who are already based here, paints a highly positive picture of how Hull is reinventing itself as a modern 21st Century city.
“These awards will highlight all the amazing things now happening in Hull. We know there are so many companies out there who deserve recognition, so we would appeal to anyone with something to shout about to get their entry in and be part of a wonderful night.”
